Financing of energy efficiency projects in state buildings, bondissues authorized, procedure.

8.803. The board of public buildings, in accordance withsection 8.400, or the state environmental improvement and energyresources authority, in accordance with sections 260.005 to260.125, RSMo, may authorize the sale of bonds or participate inother appropriate financing arrangements to fund energyefficiency projects in state buildings. All energy efficiencyprojects for state buildings proposed for funding by theenvironmental improvement and energy resources authority pursuantto sections 8.800 to 8.825 and the anticipated amount of the bondissues or other financing arrangement to fund such projects shallbe specifically approved by the joint committee on capitalimprovements oversight within forty-five days of notification tothe committee. If the committee does not meet within forty-fivedays, the projects shall stand approved.
