Department to make energy efficiency practices information availablefor construction, retrofitting and maintenance of state and publicbuildings.

8.847. The department shall make available energyefficiency practices information to be used by individualsinvolved in the design, construction, retrofitting andmaintenance of public and state buildings. The division shallimmediately adopt and implement those energy efficiency practicesfor the purchase and replacement of electrical and mechanicalequipment where the simple energy savings payback period is fiveyears or less.
