Patriots Day, date of--how observed.

9.115. April nineteenth of every year shall be known and designatedas "Patriots Day". It shall be a day on which to commemorate the day ofthe "shot heard 'round the world" and the beginning of the AmericanRevolution. The teachers and students of the schools of this state shallobserve the day with appropriate exercises. All citizens of this state arerequested to devote some portion of patriots day to solemn contemplation onthe selfless sacrifice made by those who fought and gave their lives forour nation's independence.
