Institutions to cooperate with committee--may subpoena witnessesand papers.

21.460. 1. The department of corrections, each section andcorrectional facility within the department and, upon request,any other state agency shall cooperate with and assist thecommittee in the performance of its duties and shall makeavailable all books, records and information requested.

2. The committee shall have the power to subpoena witnesses,take testimony under oath, compel the attendance of witnesses,the giving of testimony and the production of records.
