Annual report of committee, contents.

21.465. It shall be the duty of the committee to compile afull report of its activities for submission to the generalassembly. The report shall be submitted not later than thefifteenth of January of each year in which the general assemblyconvenes in regular session and shall include any recommendationswhich the committee may have for legislative action as well asany recommendations for administrative or procedural changes inthe internal management or organization of the department or itscorrectional facilities. The report shall also include ananalysis and statement of the manner in which statutoryprovisions relating to the department and its several sectionsare being executed. Copies of the report containing suchrecommendations shall be sent to the director of the departmentof corrections and other persons within the department chargedwith administrative or managerial duties.
