Personnel and actuarial assistance authorized--compensation, howpaid.

21.557. The committee may employ such personnel andactuarial assistance as it deems necessary to carry out itsduties and prepare required reports. The compensation of suchpersonnel and the expenses of the committee shall be paid fromthe joint contingent fund or jointly from the senate and housecontingent funds until an appropriation is made therefor.
