Committee to review county salaries, members, duties.

21.780. Every ten years after August 28, 1997, a review of countysalaries shall be made by the general assembly. A committee consisting ofthree members of the house of representatives appointed by the speaker andthree members of the senate appointed by the president pro tem shall carryout the review. The committee shall complete its review by Decemberthirty-first of the year in which the committee is appointed. Legislationto revise the then existing salary schedules may be filed at the nextfollowing session of the general assembly.
