Transition funds and facilities for auditor.

29.400. 1. In each year in which an auditor of this stateis elected and when the auditor so elected is not the incumbentat the time of the election, funds and facilities for theauditor-elect to be used by him in preparing an orderlytransition of administration shall be provided.

2. The legislature shall appropriate to the commissioner ofadministration, funds to be used only for the purpose of thistransition and to be expended during the transition period but inno event shall the amount so appropriated exceed ten thousanddollars for any such transition and all funds not expended forthis purpose during the transition period shall revert to generalrevenue.
