Authority to enter into agreements for certain services.

30.286. In addition to the other powers authorized in this chapter,the state treasurer may enter into one or more agreements with one or morevendors, banking institutions, agents, consulting firms, or not-for-profitprivate businesses for the provisions of services relating to the statetreasurer's duties as described in this chapter and the MissouriConstitution, including but not limited to collateral tracking andmanagement, custodial banking and other banking services, securitieslending, investment advisory services, and other general consultingservices as required for a period of years. Such businesses shall berequired to demonstrate their ability to manage confidential information,to purchase fidelity bonds on the employees of such businesses, purchaseother bonds and insurance as needed for the services provided, and tocertify adequately the accuracy of reports required from time to time.
