36.310. Reinstatement register.
36.310. The director shall establish and maintainreinstatement registers, which shall contain the names of personswho have been regular employees and who have been laid off ingood standing, or demoted in lieu of layoff, due to shortage ofwork or funds, or the abolition of a position or material changein duties or organization. The order in which names shall beplaced on a reinstatement register, and the length of time forwhich a name shall remain on such register, shall be establishedby the regulations. The director may remove the name of a personfrom a reinstatement register, or refuse to certify his name fora position if he finds, after giving him notice and anopportunity to be heard, that such person is not qualified toperform satisfactorily the necessary duties.
