Personnel division to perform personnel studies and services asdirected by commissioner.

36.500. The personnel division shall collect information,provide services, make studies and analyses as directed by thecommissioner of administration of personnel covered by theprovisions of this chapter and other systems in the executivebranch of state government and to perform any other service asdirected by the commissioner or the governor to promoteuniformity in employment conditions and compensation of stateemployees, provide aid to departments in personnel matters and todevelop a career system of state service that will enable thestate to utilize all its personnel in as efficient and effectivea manner as possible without restrictions of department, agencyor other entity of the executive branch of state government.
