Printing equipment or copying machines, purchase, lease or rental,approval by commissioner required, exception.

37.350. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no agency shallpurchase, lease or rent any copy machine or printing equipment until thepurchase, lease or rental agreement has been approved by the commissionerof administration, nor shall the purchasing division approve, on behalf ofany agency, any such purchase, lease or rental agreement. The commissionerof administration may waive the commissioner's approval authority for anyspecific level or type of equipment that may be requested by stateagencies.
