40.205. Every record of trial by general court-martial inwhich there has been a finding of guilty and a sentence, andevery record of trial by special court-martial in which thesentence as approved by an officer exercising generalcourt-martial jurisdiction includes a bad conduct discharge,shall be examined in the office of the state judge advocate. Ifthe state judge advocate so directs, the record shall be reviewedby a board of review in accordance with section 40.208.
