Sentence, unexecuted portion--powers to remit or suspend, exception--discharge or dismissal ordered by governor, when.

40.225. 1. A convening authority may remit or suspend anypart or amount of the unexecuted part of any sentence, includingall uncollected forfeitures, other than a sentence approved bythe governor.

2. The governor may, for good cause, substitute anadministrative form of discharge for a discharge or dismissalexecuted in accordance with the sentence of a court-martial.
