Leaving post while on duty--use of drugs, drunkenness, sleeping onduty--court-martial.

40.380. Any person subject to sections 40.005 to 40.490 whois found drunk, under the influence of any intoxicant, narcotic,barbiturate or somnifacient or similar substance, on duty orsleeping upon his post, or who leaves that post before he isregularly relieved, shall be punished as a court-martial maydirect.
