Amount of federal benefits to be deducted from statepayments--authorization required.

41.940. If a member or his dependents receive federalcompensation due to an injury or disease which is covered bychapter 287, RSMo, the amount of the federal compensation shallbe deducted from the amount otherwise due from the state ofMissouri. Before any claim is processed pursuant to chapter 287,RSMo, a member shall sign an authorization consenting to therelease of any information pertaining to federal compensationpaid for an injury or disease covered under chapter 287, RSMo.
