Residents of homes to pay for care, when--amount of payment, howdetermined.

42.110. Each resident of Missouri veterans' homes who has aregular source of income or other financial means shall makemonthly payments by the tenth of each month to defray, orpartially defray, the cost of maintaining residence at the home.The amount to be paid shall be determined by the executivedirector with the approval of the commission, who, in making thedetermination, shall take into consideration the income or otherfinancial means of the resident, and the cost of the careprovided. No charge to any resident shall be more than theaveraged cost of the care provided.
