46.099. Beginning at a point in the middle of the mainchannel of the Mississippi River, due east of the mouth of theMeramec; thence due west to the middle of the main channel of theMeramec River, at the mouth thereof; thence up the Meramec, inthe middle of the main channel thereof, to where the townshipline between townships forty-three and forty-four crosses thesame; thence west with said line to the Meramec River, where thesaid township line again crosses the same; thence up the MeramecRiver, in the middle of the main channel thereof, to a pointwhere the range line between ranges two and three, east, crossesthe same; thence south with said range line to the northwestcorner of township forty-two, range three, east; thence direct tothe northeast corner of Washington County, being a point sixteenchains north of the quarter-section corner on the line betweensections fourteen and fifteen, in township forty, north, rangetwo, east; thence in a direct line to the middle of the mainchannel of Big River, opposite the mouth of Mineral Fork; thenceup said river, in the middle of the main channel thereof, towhere the subdivisional line between sections eighteen andnineteen intersects the same; thence east with the subdivisionlines to the southeast corner of section sixteen, townshipthirty-eight, range four, east; thence direct to the southeastcorner of township thirty-nine, north, range five, east; thencein a direct line, and with the St. Francois County line, towardthe southeast corner of section twenty-three, townshipthirty-eight, north, range six, east, to where said lineintersects the Platten Creek; thence in a direct line to Skagg'sSpring, on the Isle au Bois Creek, in section fourteen, townshipthirty-nine, north, of range six, east, and to said Isle au BoisCreek, and to the middle of the main channel thereof; thence downthe middle of the main channel of said Isle au Bois Creek to theslough bank; thence in a northeastern direction to the middle ofthe main channel of the Mississippi River; thence up the middleof the main channel of said Mississippi River to the place ofbeginning.
