Salaries, how computed.

78.050. The mayor and councilmen shall have an office at thecity hall or at some other convenient and suitable place. Themayor's and each councilman's annual salary shall be fixed byordinance. Such salary shall be payable in equal monthly orsemimonthly installments as provided by ordinance. Every otherofficer or assistant shall receive such salary or compensation asthe council shall provide by ordinance or resolution, payable inequal monthly or semimonthly installments. The salary orcompensation of all other employees of the city shall be fixed bythe council and shall be payable monthly or at such shorterperiods as the council shall determine.
