Bonds of assessors and deputies.

82.590. The assessor and his deputies before entering upontheir duties shall give bond to the state; the assessor fortwenty thousand dollars and the deputies each for five thousanddollars, or such other sums as may be fixed by ordinance. Eachbond shall be executed in duplicate; the original thereof shallbe deposited and filed in the office of the secretary of state,and the duplicate copy, which shall be so marked, shall bedeposited and filed in the office of the city comptroller.
