Board of police--hours of service--emergency powers (St. Louis).

84.110. Eight hours shall constitute the time of regularservice for the members of the police force for such citiesduring any one day of twenty-four hours; but nothing herein shallbe so construed as to prevent the boards of police commissionersin such cities from suspending the operation of such rule fixingthe time of regular daily service of such police officers in caseof existing emergencies, and said boards shall have full power todetermine the existence and duration of such emergencies, andtheir finding in respect thereto shall not be subject to reviewby any other power.
