Ordinary disability retirement benefit.

86.067. Upon the application of a member in service or ofthe board of police commissioners, any member who has had ten ormore years of creditable service shall be retired by the board oftrustees, not less than thirty and not more than ninety days nextfollowing the date of filing such application on an ordinarydisability retirement allowance; provided, that the medical boardafter a medical examination of such member shall certify thatsuch member is mentally or physically incapacitated for thefurther performance of duty, that such incapacity is likely to bepermanent and that such member should be retired.
