Termination of employment prior to five years of creditableservice, lump-sum payment.

86.1550. Whenever a member's service is terminated for any reasonprior to death or retirement and such member has less than five years ofcreditable service, or a member's service is terminated after conviction ofa felony, or a member's service is terminated for any reason and suchmember requests the withdrawal of all such member's accumulatedcontributions to the retirement system, such member shall be paid theamount of such member's accumulated contributions in one lump sum and suchpayment shall be in lieu of any and all other benefits to which such memberor any beneficiary or survivor thereof might otherwise be or becomeentitled under sections 86.1310 to 86.1640.
