Contributions by city to general reserve fund.

87.325. Contributions to and payments from the generalreserve fund shall be as follows: On account of each memberthere shall be paid annually into the fund by the city an amountequal to a certain percentage of the earnable compensation of themember to be known as "the normal contribution" and an additionalamount equal to a percentage of his earnable compensation to beknown as "the accrued liability contribution". The rates percentof the contributions shall be fixed on the basis of theliabilities of the retirement system as shown by actuarialvaluations.
