Condemnation of property--confirmation or rejection of report.

88.050. The city shall, by ordinance, confirm or reject thereport mentioned in section 88.047 within thirty days afterdelivery of the said certified copy to the city clerk and shallfile a certified copy of such ordinance with the clerk of thecircuit court within ten days after the taking effect of suchordinance. Failure of the city to take action upon such reportwithin the time limited shall be deemed a rejection of same. Ifsuch report is rejected in either manner, the proceedings shallbe dismissed and no proceedings to condemn any of said propertyfor the same or any similar purpose shall be instituted by thecity within two years after the rejection of the report, unlessupon the petition of the owners of three-fourths of the propertyfronting on the line of the proposed improvement.
