91.055. Other provisions of law to the contrary notwithstanding, inany first class county with a charter form of government and a populationgreater than six hundred thousand and less than nine hundred thousandpersons, any person who, on June 29, 1999, is a water service customer ofany municipality located in whole or in part in such county may continue toreceive water service from such municipality even in the event that apublic water supply district shall claim the exclusive right to providewater service to such person.
