Cities, towns or villages may procure water from any othercity--contract.

91.060. Any city, town or village in this state havingauthority to maintain and operate waterworks may procure waterfor that purpose from any other city having a system ofwaterworks, and to that end may enter into a contract thereforwith such city having a system of waterworks; and any city ofthis state having a waterworks system is hereby authorized andempowered whenever it deems it expedient to supply any othercity, town or village of this state in its vicinity with waterfrom its waterworks for such time and upon such terms and undersuch rules and regulations as it may deem proper.
