Refund or absorption of tax, prohibited.

92.340. It is unlawful for any person to advertise or holdout or state to the public or to any transient guest or foodestablishment patron directly or indirectly, that the tax or anypart thereof imposed by sections 92.325 to 92.340, and requiredto be collected by that person, will be absorbed by that person,or anyone on behalf of that person, or that it will not beseparately stated and added to the price of the sleeping room orfood establishment bill, or if added, that it or any part thereofwill be refunded.
