Liability insurance coverage authorized, state highways andtransportation commission.

104.175. The state highways and transportation commission isauthorized, when requested by the highways and transportation employees'and highway patrol retirement system, to provide liability insurancecovering the operation of all vehicles owned or leased or used by thesystem. The commission is also authorized, when requested by the system,to provide workers' compensation coverage for the executive director andemployees of the system. In the event the commission provides suchinsurance coverage, the system shall reimburse the commission for all costsof such coverage.
