Recording counters defined--machine may have device forpreserving recording counter readings before and after election.

115.251. Any voting machine may be provided with a devicefor printing, embossing or photographing the recording countersbefore the polls open and after the polls close. "Recordingcounters" are the counters which show the total number of votescast for each candidate and for and against each question at anyparticular time.
