Depositions, when taken--civil discovery rules to apply.

115.569. Immediately upon the filing of a petition andanswer, the taking of depositions may commence at the option ofthe contestant, and the persons selected by the contestant andcontestee to take depositions shall immediately issue subpoenasto the witnesses, commanding them to appear and give testimony atthe time and place specified. The taking of depositions and allrelated matters shall be subject to the rules of discovery incivil cases. Either the contestant or the contestee may, withoutnotice, take rebutting testimony at the time and place specifiedfor the taking of depositions.
