Parties may subpoena witnesses and take depositions.

115.599. In all cases of contested elections, primary andother, the contestant and the contestee shall be allowed processfor witnesses, and either party may take depositions, as in civilcases, to be read as evidence at the trial, as is authorized incivil cases. All such depositions shall be filed before thetrial is commenced, and may be read in evidence no matter wherethe witnesses reside.
