Tie vote, how determined.

128.080. If two or more persons residing in one districtshall have an equal number of votes given in the state, asaforesaid, and more than any other person residing in the samedistrict, the governor shall immediately notify the generalassembly thereof, and such election shall be determined by jointvote of both houses of the general assembly, by choosing one ofthe persons so having an equal number of votes.
