Fines for violations--limitation.

130.072. Any person who knowingly accepts or makes a contribution ormakes an expenditure in violation of any provision of this chapter or whoknowingly conceals a contribution or expenditure by filing a false orincomplete report or by not filing a required report, in addition to or inthe alternative to any other penalty imposed by this chapter, shall be heldliable to the state in civil penalties in an amount equal to any suchcontribution or expenditure.
