Federal candidates exempt if in compliance with federal electionlaws--certain filings required.

130.086. Notwithstanding any of the other provisions ofthis chapter, national political party committees, candidates forelective federal offices and any committee formed for the solepurpose of supporting a candidate or candidates for electivefederal office shall be deemed to have fully complied with theprovisions of this chapter if they have complied with all thereporting requirements of the federal election laws, and ifcopies of all election reports which are required by federal lawto be filed with appropriate federal officials are filed with theMissouri ethics commission at the same time that they are filedwith federal officials, and if all books and records relatingthereto are kept in accordance with federal law.
