Accounts and vouchers to be exhibited, when.

136.160. All officers and others bound by law to pay money directlyto the director of revenue or the department of revenue shall exhibit theiraccounts and vouchers to the director of revenue on or before thethirty-first day of December, to be adjusted and settled, except the countycollectors of revenue and collector-treasurers, who shall, immediatelyafter their final settlement with the county commission on the first Mondayin March in each year, exhibit their accounts and vouchers to the directorof revenue for the amount due the state to be adjusted and settled.
