Duties of city comptroller.

137.525. The city comptroller shall hear and determine allcomplaints or manifest error in the assessment of property fortaxes, and in all cases when it shall appear that any real ortangible personal property has been erroneously assessed, causethe same to be corrected on the assessment books, and certify tothe director of revenue all such corrections for credit to thecollector. The city comptroller shall perform all duties andacts within the city, in regard to the land delinquent list, thesale of land for taxes, and the assessment books and tax billsthat are imposed on county commissions by general law; and makeout the back tax books and the back tax bills required by law.
