Commission to assess, adjust and equalize aggregatevaluation--operations extending into another state, effect.

137.979. The commission shall assess, adjust and equalizethe aggregate valuation of the distributable property of eachprivate car company. When the operations of any private carcompany extend into another state, the commission shall assess,equalize and adjust only such proportion of the total value ofall the distributable property of such company as may bereasonably necessary to generate mileage in this state. Thecommission may require information in the forms required undersections 137.975 to 137.985 which may be necessary to properlyassess and allocate such property.
