Disposition of moneys--St. Louis.

139.240. 1. The collector of the city of St. Louis shall onMonday in each week, deposit in the bank that is designated tohim by the director of revenue, to the credit of the director ofrevenue, all moneys received by him for the state, firstdeducting the amount of his commission, and take from the cashiera certificate of every deposit, which shall be received by thedirector of revenue in payment of the revenue.

2. The collector, when he makes the deposit, shall transmitto the director of revenue an affidavit, setting forth the amountof revenue which he has received since the last deposit, and theamount retained by him for his commission.

3. Nothing contained in this section shall be so construedas to affect in any wise the rate or amount of commission whichthe collector would be entitled to on his final settlement.
