County records, prima facie evidence--moneys paid to successor.

140.620. 1. The books and records belonging to the officeof county clerk and collector certified by said officersrespectively, shall be deemed prima facie evidence to prove theissuance of any certificate, the sale of any land or lot fortaxes, the redemption of the same or payment of taxes thereon.

2. The county collector shall, at the expiration of his termof office, pay over to his successor in office all moneys in hishands received for redemption from sale for taxes on realproperty.
