Personal judgments not authorized.

140.640. Nothing in this chapter contained shall beconstrued to authorize a personal judgment against any owner ofany land or lot, or of any interest therein, for any real estatetax levied and/or assessed against such land or lot, nor shallthis law be so construed as to change in any manner whatsoeverthe method or mode now or that may hereafter be provided by lawfor the collection of drainage and/or levee assessments, or otherspecial assessments.
