Commission allowed on collection of revenue.

140.750. All officers required by law to receive and payover to the collectors any part of the state and county revenueshall receive as full compensation, commission on the amountreceived at the rate of two percent; provided, that in countiesof the first and second class and the city of St. Louis, suchcommission shall be paid by all officers receiving suchcompensation to the county or city treasury as provided by law.
