Execution of deed by sheriff for property sold (St. Louis).

141.950. The sheriff shall, subject to the provisions ofsection 141.940, execute to the purchasers of real estate undersections 141.820 to 141.970, a deed for the property sold, whichshall be acknowledged before the circuit court of the city notwithin a county, as in ordinary cases, and which shall convey atitle in fee to such purchaser of the real estate therein named,and shall be prima facie evidence of title, and that the mattersand things therein stated are true.
