161.152. Section of district reorganization created--duties.
161.152. The state board of education shall establish asection of district reorganization. The state board, through thesection of district reorganization, shall advise and, uponrequest by any county board of education, cooperate with thevarious county boards of education in making plans for theenlargement and reorganization of school districts throughout thestate and shall provide the technical and advisory assistance inconnection therewith that, in the discretion of the board, willpromote efficiency in school administration and the improvementof educational opportunities for the school children of thestate.
