Candidates for board, qualifications--filing for office, where.

162.860. Candidates for membership on the board of education of aspecial school district with a population of not more than one hundredthousand persons shall be citizens of the United States and voters of theproposed district who have resided within the state for one year nextpreceding the election and who are at least twenty-four years of age. Allcandidates shall file their declarations of candidacy with the secretary ofthe state board of education.
