Results, how certified.

162.870. The results of board elections conducted pursuant to section162.865 shall be certified and transmitted to the state board of educationand to the board of education of each school district comprising thespecial district, immediately upon tabulation following the closing of thepolls. The state board of education, from the results so certified, shalldetermine the members elected to the board of education and shall issuecertificates of election to the persons entitled thereto.
