Transfer of recipient, effect of.

173.1107. A recipient of financial assistance may transfer from oneapproved public or private institution to another without losingeligibility for assistance under sections 173.1101 to 173.1107, but thecoordinating board shall make any necessary adjustments in the amount ofthe award. If a recipient of financial assistance at any time is entitledto a refund of any tuition, fees, or other charges under the rules andregulations of the institution in which he or she is enrolled, theinstitution shall pay the portion of the refund which may be attributed tothe state grant to the coordinating board. The coordinating board will usethese refunds to make additional awards under the provisions of sections173.1101 to 173.1107.
