Program review.

178.695. 1. Programs shall be subject to review andapproval under standards developed by the department ofelementary and secondary education consisting of early childhoodeducation and parents as teachers programs and published as anadministrative rule under the provisions of chapter 536, RSMo.

2. The lieutenant governor shall act as an advisor to thedepartment for all such programs reviewed by the department.
