Terms of office of trustees--removal.

182.180. The trustees shall hold office, one-third for oneyear, one-third for two years and one-third for three years fromthe first of July following their appointment, and at their firstregular meeting shall cast lots for the respective terms; andannually thereafter the mayor or other proper official, beforethe first of July of each year, shall appoint three trustees, whoshall hold office for three years. The mayor or other properofficial, by and with the consent of the legislative branch ofthe city government, may remove any trustee for misconduct orneglect of duty.
