184.250. Memorial buildings or monuments in each county.

Memorial buildings or monuments in each county.

184.250. In appreciation of the services rendered by thecitizen soldiery of Missouri in the war against Germany and herallies and for the purpose of preserving the records andperpetuating the memory of their heroic achievements, a memorialbuilding, monument or other suitable testimonial shall be erectedor placed in each of the counties of the state and in cities notpart of a county. Such memorial may be a building or a monumentor in the form of tablets suitably inscribed and placed in somebuilding at the county seat of such counties or at such placesdesignated by the county commissions of said county and in saidcities not part of a county. The exact nature of such memorialshall be determined by the county commission of the county or bythe municipal assembly of said city.
